Let’s talk about a Natural Travel First Aid Kit for Bali . I'm only going for 5 nights so it's lean, but with smart essentials. Also included is some pre-departure preparations to give your gut and immune system the best chance of coping with the change of diet, water, and environment. Pre- Departure (7-14 days beforehand) Slippery Elm Powder: Take 1/4 tsp in water daily to coat and strengthen the gut lining, reducing sensitivity to unfamiliar foods. Probiotics: A broad-spectrum probiotic (with Lactobacillus & Bifidobacterium strains) taken daily to support gut flora and immunity. Vitamin C & Zinc: Support immune resilience before travel. Digestive Health Digestive Health Activated Charcoal (30ml tin): Take ¼ tsp in bottled water as a preventative measure. At first sign of Bali Belly: ½ tsp in water until symptoms subside. Probiotics (travel sachets/capsules): Keep taking daily during travel for gut protection. Slippery Elm Powder (small tin): Mix ½ tsp in water to soothe gut irritation or reflux. Immune & Infection Support Food-Grade Hydrogen Peroxide 6% (30ml dropper): Dilute a few drops in water as a mouth rinse. Use (diluted to 1% further) to clean cuts and grazes. Lavender Essential Oil (small vial): Dab on insect bites or cuts to prevent infection. Skin & Sun OmMade Essential Bug Blitz (Insect Repellent). OmMade Sun Protection Lotion . OmMade Calendula Soothing Balm: To soothe sunburn or skin irritation. Homeopathics (non-negotiables for travel) Arsenicum Album 30C: For food poisoning, diarrhoea, vomiting, or restlessness from dodgy food/water. Nux Vomica 30C: For overindulgence, hangover, jet lag, or stomach upset from rich/spicy food. Cocculus 30C: For travel sickness, dizziness, or nausea. Apis 30C: For insect bites or allergic swellings (red, hot, stinging). Belladonna 30C: For sudden fevers, sunstroke, or heat headaches. Arnica 30C: For bumps, bruises, muscle soreness from activity or long flights. I've attached a checklist for your use (both Word if you wish to edit and PDF to print straight off). Have I missed anything that you normally take on holiday?
